We have lost a good friend, fellow Poet in Michael James Garland. His death is so unexpected and we are at a loss right now with grief almost beyond words. Our Fame Community appreciates the contributions he made to our start-up as a Moderator.
Aloha! Michael, my friend. Mahalo until we meet again.

Ether Sonnet 339
Sonnet #339 “Ether”
By David Palmer
31-January, 2017
Renton, Washington
A Byron Sonnet
Breathing in emotional helium
Has made my spirit blithesome and buoyant
Skipping across these clouds of Joy, present
In orbit 'round your love. Lights of Belgium
Visible in my space, Byzantium,
Great city, not even more exotic
Your words bind me, blind me in myopic
Vision. Thoughts of you fill my cranium.
My voice pitched high, two octaves at least,
I won't forsake the liqueur of your love
Sonnets of praise to you shall never cease
Passion encases this heart like a glove
My Queen, in her radiant beauty speaks peace
To my soul floating in ether above.

Within The Flame By Craig J. Burt
Within The Flame
By Craig J. Burt 8/18/15
To know you
To touch you
Is new
Heart's soaring
Around glimmering stars
In this world of ours.
Cold Beauty
Cold Beauty
snow
fall,
magic
remaking
of the world I know;
fell asleep in weary wetness,
only to awaken to angelic paradise!
Oh me! Oh my! Won’t Arianna be surprised, when she wakes to see this wonder?

Word prompt. Te amo.
Te amo? Why of course, cursed presence the
distant echo of discord, fight or flight
to the corner I was forced. I pondered
broken thoughts disillusioned I fell hoarse.
Te amo?utter disgrace, speak English.
Respectively you ask, my quaint anger
your passion fueled voice, assurances
that roots spoken, true essence...Te amo,
my love, calm waters among ebbing tides
Te amo? chaotic swirl, tragic tales
Shakespeare's quill, ink dipped the heroine
in storms of fractured love and life's repose,
Te amo? Such depth of understanding,
hindsight, patient echos, those stormy days.
